After completing the monumental Bay City tapestry, Monique was approached by many cities in Michigan to weave tapestries for their City Halls. Here is a 5 by 3 foot tapestry of the insignia on Port Huron's flag - the city's renowned lighthouse. To weave the wave, Monique used over a hundred shades of blue and various textures.
